You can’t out train a bad diet. It’s a cliche but it’s true - if you do not have your diet in check you can not optimise your performance. With Athlete X nutritional coaching, you will get a fully personalised plan designed to help you reach your goals. This will not be a short term, fad diet - your coach will work with you to design a sustainable diet that YOU can consistently adhere to in the long term and one which includes the foods you love to eat. On top of this, there will be a strong focus on education so that you understand every change we make to your diet and know how to manage eating the foods you love to eat while still making progress. I never want you to go back to jumping between different ‘diets’. Instead I want you to know what changes you need to make and why you’re making them - this is the true way of having a good relationship with food and having a sustainable long term diet!




After an initial consultation to determine your goals, current eating habits and health status, a nutritional program will be designed based on this information, including exactly how much to eat each and every day


On top of your monthly check-in, I will be on hand to answer any questions you have. I appreciate that making long lasting changes to your diet can often be the hardest step so I’ll always be on hand to make it as easy as possible.



Once a month, I will schedule a 15-30min call to discuss how things are going. This is an opportunity to discuss progress and make any tweaks to your program as necessary.


It was great to give a talk last week to students at Belfast Met College on childhood nutrition and the impact that diet can have on the development of a child.
Main takeaways:
🔹nutrition and diet can impact on a child before they even exist through the diet of the Mum!
🔹A significant chunk of brain development occurs in the first 3 years of life - starting off by feeding an infant rice cereal is not an optimal way to fuel this process.
🔹healthy sources of fats such as avocado and egg yolk should be prioritised in the diet for optimal brain development.
